Welcome to St. Barnabas Church, Franche

St Barnabas is a friendly, open, growing church in the heart of Franche village, the northern edge of Kidderminster. Our worshipping life is based around the Eucharist; we are middle of the road Anglican with catholic influences. 

We encourage church members of every age to take part in our services.  Members of the congregation read, lead intercessions, sing in our choir and also serve at the altar. 

We enjoy having children and their families present at our services.  Children who have been baptised and attend regularly are invited to receive communion after preparation.

We highlight issues of justice and peace in our church life – encouraging the use of fair trade products and supporting global campaigns such as trade justice and Live 8.  During Lent a group met to develop a Christian response to the environment and global warming.  Every year a small group of us attend the Greenbelt Christian Arts Festival. 

We also have very strong links with our church school, St Barnabas First School.
